Simplex Chemo Pack — QR Quality Checks and an AI CRM Roadmap
Curve Metrics has started QR-based quality-check process management for Simplex Chemo Pack, an FIBC business in Nagpur. A wider CRM covering six stages from purchase order to final product delivery, including AI optimization, is in the pipeline.

Challenge
The business problem
The immediate project focus is quality-check process management using QR codes. The longer-term brief connects purchase-order entry, costing, job cards, production, quality control, packing and dispatch. The detailed roadmap below reflects the planned workflow; integration specifications and AI acceptance criteria still need validation.
Solution
Current work and proposed roadmap
- Current scope: QR-based quality-check process management. Work has started; this update does not claim a completed production rollout.
- Planned scope: an operations CRM from PO upload or entry through costing, production, quality control, dispatch and contractor billing, with management oversight.
- Planned AI capability: PO data extraction and validation. Further optimization ideas include inspection summaries, missing-information flags and exception prioritization; these remain proposals for discovery.
- Proposed control: quality acceptance, commercial commitments and external actions remain subject to authorized staff approval. AI suggestions should link to the records that support them.

The planned sequence is grouped below for readability. These are roadmap steps, not a list of features already delivered. The final manager step and acceptance rules will be clarified during discovery.

Proposed validation
How we plan to measure the work
- Agree what each QR code identifies and record the inspection owner, timestamp, check result and approval history.
- Measure median inspection completion time and incomplete-record rate before and after the pilot using comparable work.
- Track exception closure time and repeat defects using agreed definitions; publish sample size and measurement period with any outcome.
- Evaluate AI suggestions against reviewer decisions before enabling them for routine use.
